We have a long and distinguished history of achievement here at Salford and much to be proud of. As our mission rightly says – we transform lives, stimulate discovery and realise potential.
The Digital IT directorate is transforming. We still provide core IT services to the university’s students, academics and professionals, and are currently exploring new technologies and striving to innovative, whilst also placing a strong focus around improving the customer experience. This forward-thinking approach has opened the door for many new opportunities, making us an enabling force within the University.
We have evolved into taking on a digital and project function. The expansion of our services is to support the delivery of the University’s strategic plan and priorities. Underpinning the university’s strategic plan is the Digital IT strategy, which encompasses some new and exciting programmes of work.
Our ambition is that Salford will become the destination of choice for students who will have exceptional levels of employability when they graduate. Digital IT is a key enabler for the University to achieve this!
